Please note that at the present time the Ted and Dr. Roberta Mann Foundation is not accepting unsolicited proposals.   We encourage you to contact our Foundation staff via our 'Contact Us' page to discuss your grant idea as the first step in our process. 

Grant Policy:

• All grant requests are reviewed and approved by the Board of Trustees
• Applications must include:  A copy of your IRS letter certifying your 501 c (3) status, a copy of your organization’s budget for the current year, a copy of your latest audit or financial statement, a list of your board of directors and current funders
• Applicants should use the Minnesota Common Grant Application Form
• Successful applicants will be asked to submit progress and final reports on their grants that include an evaluation of grant outcomes and a full financial report

The Ted and Dr. Roberta Mann Foundation will not ordinarily provide support for the following:

• Existing endowments
• Fund Raising activities
• Medical research
• Grants to individuals
• Debt retirement
• Political organizations or campaigns
• Organizations that influence legislation as a substantial part of their purpose
• Normal government responsibilities
